Harley Davidson Pinball Playfield Upgrade Kit

This is an upgrade kit for the Harley Davidson Pinball Machine. It can be used for Harley Davidson machines produced by Sega or Stern. The upgrade is explained as follows and is very easy to install: Ball Guide Wire Form ( Opto Protect ) Replacement and butyrite-16 ( Plastic ) support plate addition update kit .

 Kit includes 2 new revised Ball guides ( 5/8th's ) with flanged ends, metal support plate with decal, #8-32 X 5/16th pph machine screw , #6 X 3/8th HWH screw , mini jewel post ( clear ) & Instruction sheet with all necessary installation instructions

The problem it's supposed to cure is explained by Stern as follows: We have discovered through field testing & operator input that some early production games having 5/8th " ball guides without the 'stamped flange' ends. Constant pounding from the ball can cause the guides to be hammered into the playfield. With the correct flanged ends however the ball cannot hammer the ball guide through. These ball guides are positioned to protect the opto switches at the motorcycle entrance from being hit with the ball.
