Technical data - Ceramic element, Frequency Response 30-15K, Impedance 8K ohms, Sensitivity -60 dB.
I connected a quarter inch mono jack, mounted it inside the Mini Mojo Wooden shell. I added a knuckle-handle so that you can easy slip it in between two fingers (ring finger and middle finger) and hold close to the harmonica. The shell is made out of birch with a red mahogony stain on the shell, and on the microphone face piece and both convered in several polyurethane coats.
The result is a lightweight 2 1/4 X 1 1/2 inch microphone that you can connect to any amp by means of a standard quarter inch instrument (guitar) cable. Cup it inside your hands with your harp for great tone
And it comes with a blue velour bag.
I have used this Mini Mojo through a Honeytone and a Nifty Fifty amp and I love how it sounds.
The first Mini Mojo I sold on e-bay, I sold to Mike and he posted this letter on Google:
Attention harp players!
A few weeks ago I took a chance on an eBay purchase of a homemade/handmade harp mic called the 'Mini-Mojo'. Now I own 3. The seller's name is 'collectors_son'. I don't know this guy, I never met this guy, but lemme tell you all HIS MIC KICKS *** !
It's about a third the size of a Bullet, Blaster or Astatic and weighs nothing. He uses a high impedance element with a standard 1/4" jack. The output level is perfect for avoiding feedback and the TONE IS PHENOMENAL! I've played it through a Bassman, a Delta Blues, a SuperJet and a Blues Jr. and I'm lovin' this thing! It has a finger peg for proper positioning, and, get this it's made out of birch wood. No, really. Even the look cries 'down-home blues'.
He makes 'em one at a time and only sells thru eBay, so if there's not one listed currently, keep searching. I got mine for about $50 but, of course, you're on your own at auct! ion. They're worth double. I've put down my Green Bullets for good, and I was a loyal fan for years. I've got 2 Bullets and I may list those on eBay myself.
I've been playing professionally for over six years and I swear I'm not affiliated with this guy in the least, but I thought you ought to know.
Thanks again,
Mike
