This auction is for a vintage 1960s Harmony H22 Hollowbody electric bass.
To the best of my knowledge, it has the original electronics and hardware, except for the batwing pickguard (which was removed before I ever got it), and the volume and tone knobs are black, so are probably aftermarket.
It has been in climate-controlled storage for 40-ish years, and is in very good condition, but could certainly use some tuning-up.
It bears the tell-tale signs of gigging back in "the day", such as some scrapes and belt-buckle nicks (see photos) and has some minor finish cracking from being in storage for several years. If you really thump on the E string, it will buzz, which I'm told can possibly be remedied by adjusting the truss rod and bridge. It is otherwise physically sound.
ADDED: I added some better pictures of the prominent nicks, and a side view of the neck, to give a better visual of its condition.
The electronics work, but need at least to be cleaned. There is a lot of crackling/cutting out when adjusting the volume and tone knobs.
It comes with a leather & embroidered cloth guitar strap, and a cardboard-type case (the case is admittedly in pretty bad shape, but will work to carry it around). Stand is not included.
This would be a great item for any vintage instrument collector, and with a little TLC could possibly see the stage lights again.
