ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Absolutely original vintage November 8, 1879 issue of Harper's Weekly. Subscription edition with mailing label on back cover--not from a Bound Volume. Strong condition, details below, clean white pages with only the slightest tone. Oversized illustrated magazine measures approximately 11-1/2" X 16-1/2".

GRADING - CONDITION:
Complete with pages numbered 881-896 plus Supplement numbered 897-900

Overall grades VG or 4/10 with a good many slight tears on on outer edges of pages throughout. A light stain visible near the bottom edge of the pages throughout. Bottom corner tip chipped off on several inside pages. A few light and tiny stains/spots of soiling on covers and also throughout the issue in some spots as well. A light horizontal crease runs through middle of issue.

As stated above, this is a solid original issue, subscription edition with mailing label on back cover, not taken from a bound volume. Clean white pages, though I had a problem with the images on this one and had to revert the photo to actual black and white--so let's say there is a slight tone, pages not quite as white as shown, though this is a much more accurate portrayal then the yellow-cast photos I had been showing in previous weeks. Never had any staples in binding, nor any sign that there should have been.

    Outside the U.S., Priority Mail International orders ship within one business day of cleared payment. First Class International ships out 1-2 times per week.
