Hartzell Wooden Propeller

This is an old Hartzell wooden propeller.  It is about 83" tall.  It has stamped on it "Hartzell, Piqua Ohio, H.P.145" and "DES. 706E - 56 - 83, Ser. 27036, R.P.M. 2050, A.T.C. 460" (see pictures).  This has been used but is in nice condition.  It has what looks like metal covering the tips and one edge.  The wood is light colored on the ends and the rest is a darker golden color.  We believe this went to a Fairchild 24, but are far from experts.  This is a lovely piece.

Shipping costs are set by UPS and Ebay.  All we do is plug in the weight of the items.  We do not use USPS as we have had too many lost, broken and non payment for insured items!

All sales are final.  Items are sold “as-is” so please ask questions before bidding!  If you are in the Chicago area you can feel free to come and inspect the item in our consignment store.  Picking-up and item you have won is FREE.  Koppens is not the owners of the item(s) being auctioned we are a consignment store which also sells items on Ebay for others.  We are not experts.  We describe the items to the best of our knowledge and ability with pictures and words.  We can not be held responsible for false assumptions. We make no warranties, implied or otherwise about any of the items for sale.  As hard as we try to answer questions promptly we do not monitor a computer 24hours a day.  It is important to ask questions before you bid as we do not accept returns.  Please don’t be afraid to email us with any questions or concerns before or after the auction.

Insurance/Handling Charge

Ebay no longer will calculate insurance on a person by person basis.  Because of the new changes we now require insurance on items and are required to add it on as a “Handling Fee”.

Shipping outside of the continental United States:   Email us your location and we will give you shipping costs.  Shipping costs are NOT included in the cost of the item.  We are not import/export experts!  International Buyer’s please note:  We can only send abroad what can legally be brought into your country.  Please make sure items are legal for import before bidding.  Any duty, brokerage fees, taxes or other import fees are your responsibility.  These are not included in the item price or shipping charges.  These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.  Check with you country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.  We will NOT send anything abroad without a tracking number! We send US Priority Mail International.  Because of another Ebay policy change we now REQUIRE INSURANCE.    Do NOT ask us to claim this as a gift.  That is fraud.  Please do not pay until you have received an invoice!!  We can combine items for shipping.  Remember that shipping abroad can be expensive and that is not our fault.  We no longer ship to South Korea.    

US BUYERS

Shipping in the US will be UPS (United Parcel Service).  We will NOT ship without a tracking number to verify delivery!  This is also a PayPal requirement for their guarantee. We ship daily (m-f) so once an item is paid for we can send it out immediately. Due to a new Ebay policy we now require insurance and to charge for it Ebay requires us to list it as a “Handling Fee”.   Shipping costs are determined by weight, size and shipping destination.  On some items we charge handling fees to cover the cost of packaging and materials which we pay for.  Please remember that shipping costs are up along with gas prices.  We will combine items for shipping.

We accept PayPal as that is owned by Ebay and they require this.  You may also call our store and we can accept Visa there.  Illinois residents pay state and local tax.  If we do not receive payment within 3 days of the close of the auction we will initiate an unpaid dispute and re-list the item.  By bidding on this listing you are agreeing to and accepting all of its terms and forming a legally binding contract.  Please do not bid unless your intent is to follow through!

!!!!  Make sure your Ebay address matches your PayPal address.  We ONLY ship to your registered PayPal address!!!!!! This is PayPal requirement for their guarantee.  If your Ebay and PayPal addresses are not the same then shipping costs are not the same, as the costs are based on shipping locations.
