This is one of the rare early printings of Haruki Murakami's Pinball, 1973. It is the Kodansha English Library Edition. It is a softcover with a dustjacket and bookmark (all shown in the pictures- the bookmark says "Enjoy Reading English!") First Edition- Second Printing is stated on the copyright page. The book itself is very nice, no writing or stains anywhere, covers very clean and nice, the pages clean and tight though slightly burnished towards the edges. The cover is very nice with very few flaws on a very shiny surface, and minor shelf wear near the spine at the top and bottom (see photo.) The bookmark is perfect.
(Tokyo): Kodansha. (1985). First Edition, 2nd printing. The first English language
edition of his second book and the second book in the "Trilogy of the
Rat," following Hear the Wind Sing and preceding The Wild Sheep Chase. A small, pocket-sized paperback, in the Kodansha English Library
series, a series intended to allow Japanese readers to read Japanese
books in English; the notes in the back -- themselves an unusual
feature in a book of fiction -- translate English colloquialisms into
Japanese characters. This is the only English-language
edition of this book, and Murakami has reportedly indicated that he
does not want to publish it internationally. .

I'm a pretty decent guy and like to be fair, and I don't mess around
trying to sell stuff that isn't what I say. I also really like books and literature so I tend to take care of my
goods and package stuff well, and I ship the stuff out straight off. In
other words- I like to be a good guy and sleep at night and so I try my
best to do good business.
I have included a ten dollar handling fee for US shipping and $20 for international, and insurance and tracking is included in this price.
Anyhow- good luck and always have fun. Aloha- Toby
