I'm an American living in Japan and for the past 9 years
what started out as a way of me paying off my college loans, is now a full blown job. Almost. Here we sell Japanese collectibles, anime items, Japanese books, movie programs and more from Japan. Please come back often, I am always on the hunt for new items.

What is a Japanese Mook? A mook is part magazine part book or Mook. Mooks are one shot magazines, usually a year book, and contains no advertsiments.

Mooks have a limited print run and are collected like comic books, often placed into vinyl bags after buying. If there is a scandal, death or other media interest the Mook increases in value.

Shipping rates SAL the default shipping service. SAL takes about 14 to 21 or longer. The package flies over the sea but travels by land.
SAL a flat rate worldwide. There is no tracking and can`t be insured, but can be shipped Registered mail for $4.50 more. I find that the Post Office takes more care of a package if the receiver has to sign for it. Registered mail is not the same as insured mail. I still recommend SAL shipping. It is the best all around way of shipping.
Airmail $7.80 Takes about 7 to 14 days or more AIR is the same cost worldwide. There is no tracking number and can`t be insured but can be shipped Registered mail for $4.50 more.

EMS $18 to N. America. $17 to Europe
