When we began working with this picture a little over 2 years ago, we found concealed behind the paper backing was the brooch you see here. After working and tracing the legacy of these two pieces, the truth has been revealed. Working with these pieces has given us more than we could have ever imagined.

The story on these two pieces begins in 1894, in Kentucky, belonging to a woman named Catherine. Catherine hid herself during secret meetings of a male dominant society. When caught and questioned they were amazed she showed remarkable knowledge and invited her into their secret world. She was the first woman ever initiated into their world. The brooch was made especially for her, welcoming her into this male dominant veiled society. These pieces are truly the most powerful magickals we have offered from our collection.

The map is titled “A New and Accvrat Map of the World” and is a replica of the original 1651 map. Look at it closely. It shows figures of the 4 elements, the heavens, planets, sun and moon eclipses, armillary sphere and 4 circumnavigators. The map gives access into a world most only dream of, the celestial heavens.

 The map measures 25 x 10 and sits behind glass. The frame is gold with a green matt. The paper was removed from the back.

The four creative energies of the universe are water, earth, fire and aire. The elements are necessary for life. The elements work in harmony. You will see how the energies intertwine within these 2 pieces, creating a power so uplifting, inspiring from the heavens, it will blow you away.

The Brooch

The brooch is beaming with gemstones, beautifully crafted from silver alloy. The brooch was made in likeness to a picture frame. The woman has a long flowing gown, touching the large mother of pearl stone seeking  faith. A cherub, a celestial being represents the second order of angels. Pure innocents.

It measures 2 7/8 in length by 2 3/8 in width. It has 4 turquoise stones in each corner, for its excellent protection properties. Each one represents one element, one direction.

Practitioners always try to utilize the power stored within the gemstones, increasing the power within and this brooch is no different. Many imprints left over the years.
