  • The Mao species of bamboo specified by HAWA is harvested at maturity in 4 to 6 years to ensure hardness, stability, and clarity of color.

  • ASTM D1037 shows an average hardness of 1742 (Janka ball test).

  • Available in Vertical or Horizontal Grains; Natural or Carbonized. Prefinished with micro-bevel edge or unfinished with square edge.

  • Durable, 8-coat Treffert German low-gloss finish system provides the wear protection of aluminum oxide with polyurethane topcoats. Available as semi gloss 50%, and matte 30% May be nailed or glued down on or above grade.

In fact, you the customer can actually go to the manufacturer’s warehouse and pick up your goods directly. Factory Seconds?? Not a chance...
