Description

Shipping and payments

Hazel Soan was born in Surrey, England. She joined the Camberwell School of Art in 1972. She graduated in 1976 with a BA at the Leicester College of art. During that time she received the Holbrook Trust Prize. Since completing her formal art training in 1977, Hazel Soan has had over twenty exhibitions in ten countries. She also gives lectures on her art, writes for numerous journals and does talks on BBC.

She lives part of the year on her yacht in the Mediterranean and she spends a month each year on safari in Africa.

Her art reflects her exuberance, her palette is rich in colour and her serigraphs sing with joy and beauty, expressing her love for life.

“I love the contrast of light and shade. The beauty of painting is that moment when I get carried away and paint without dictating terms.”

Her works are in the collections of HRH the Prince of Wales, Trowbridge Museum and the ICI.

This serigraph on paper is hand signed and numbered. It measures 24" x 48" and is in an edition of 425. Buyer pays $15.00 shipping and handling in the Continental US
