H.Studio was started in 1991 by artist Shlomi
Haziza as a small art studio which created innovative acrylic
sculptures, pushing the boundaries of the material with new treatments,
finishes and techniques.
These innovations led to the success
and growth of the studio, which soon expanded to include a staff of
artists, designers, and engineers from all over the world, and a
product line which expanded from sculpture and artwork, to a wide range
of furniture, home décor, accessories, displays, and more.
As
the studio has grown, the core ideas that began with the studio’s
inception have remained the same. Just like the earliest sculptures
produced by Haziza, H.Studio designs are all created, developed, and
individually handmade to order in our Los Angeles studio, using the
highest quality materials to create one of a kind, luxury pieces that
are built to last a lifetime.
When you order a design from
H.Studio, whether it is a sculpture, table, sofa, candleholder, or any
design, each piece is truly built by hand, by a real craftsman,
striving to create a design just for you and just as your ordered it.
ABOUT THE ARTIST AND FOUNDER
By
the time Shlomi Haziza was fifteen years old, he was already an
established artist. While other children were skipping sea stones, he
was painting them, a hobby which launched his first venture, Rock Art.
It wasn't long before his whimsically painted Rocks were attracting
international attention.
Acrylic is the most sophisticated
material Haziza has mastered to date. It is an unforgiving, but
naturally exciting and expressive medium, with light-refracting
properties that give it a unique dynamic. Haziza has spent years
finding new ways to use color, metal powders and sculpting techniques
to bring out the inner fire of acrylic and breathe life and emotion
into every piece he makes. Today, Haziza’s artistic vision is the
basis for every design created by HStudio and his unique perspective
and energy drives the company to grow and innovate, forming new
concepts and ideas in the worlds of art, business, and design.
