 This is the original Flat As A Pancake album recorded in 1974 and released in early 1975 on Head East's own Pyramid label. It sold 5,000 copies
in midwest area record stores and at concerts before the band signed with A&M Records and the album was re-released on the A&M label. Though both versions of Flat As A Pancake have the same songs, the sides have been reversed (side 1 of the Pyramid label is side 2 on A&M, and side 2 of the Pyramid label is side 1 on A&M) .

The back of the album has a photo in the lower left corner with a caption below that states, 'Flat As A Pancake'.  The photo shows the flat Illinois landscape that inspired the album title. The lower right corner has a picture of the band. Both pictures were taken near The Lake of the Woods about 10 miles from Champaign, Illinois.

The white original inner sleeve is yellowed, the album is in really great condition, no major scratches.  The photo below shows a little lint.  The back of the album cover has some album rub.  The front is in great shape.
