The software "Urim and Thummim" was initially developed in
1995, and was covered by the media and press. The software was based upon a
mysterious Kabbalistic Book whose name is Urim and Thummim. It was the first
software that was developed within the framework of the present bundle of
software. The bundle is entirely based on books of Practical Kabbalah.
As time elapsed, the software has expanded into covering 23 books.
Furthermore, this bundle contains an auxiliary software for various
Numerological calculations, aimed at assisting people who wish to focus on the
subject. The development of the software
took more then 10 years , this project came to simplify the traditional and
complicated process in witch many calculation are made by hand .

The Method of the Calculating the
Answers
The software included in this bundle are based on
ancient and famous books of Practical Kabbalah. Those
books answer questions about various subjects from
everyday life. The answers are given by two main methods
of calculation: |

A skip over the table of
letters: this is based on a formula which is
calculated according to the chosen question
and the operation code that the user chose
(see the following paragraphs). This method
of calculation is common in Urim and Thummim,
Hibat Kodesh Goralo, Goral Ha’Assiriyot. |

* |
According to a Numerological
analysis of the data which the user is asked
to type on the computer (for instance: the
user’s name, his relatives names, relevant
dates etc’). This method is common in Sefer
Ha’Yezirah and Mareh Ha’Yeladim.

Explanatory
Notes
Each software
contains explanatory notes that give a
general background about the
book upon which the software is based.
Furthermore,
there are detailed
explanations about the method of receiving
an answer.
In
Urim and Thummim and Hibat
Kodesh Goralo some of the answers are either
written in Aramaic or
written faultily due to changes of similar
letters (such as: ב-
כ, ו- ז, ח- ת etc’).

The
Simplicity of the
Operation
At the bottom of each
screen there is an
explanatory note. The purpose of this note
is to help the user to find the
various possibilities of
operation. |

The Operation code – The Pentateuchal
Letter
The Pentateuchal Letter is an important constituent of
the formula of a skip-over the table of letters. There
are three ways to determine this letter: |
|

A random letter that is
chosen when one opens the Pentateuch on a
certain page. The first letter of the upper
right part of the page is the letter which
will be inserted in the formula of
calculation. |
|
* |
The first letter of the
user’s name or the first letter of the
person on whose behalf the question is
asked. |
|
* |
A letter that the Rabbai
chooses. |
|
|
Urim and Thummim – the breast-pieces which were laid on the
breast of the Great Cohen in the Temple. Those breast-pieces assisted the Great
Cohen in foretelling the future. According to the flicker of the breast-pieces,
the Great Cohen combined the letters and saw God’s answers to the questions.
The software Urim and Thummim contains two major components:

A table containing thousands of letters, which are
randomly arranged. |

* |
72 questions relating to many scopes in human life
such as: family, children, coupling, health, livelihood etc’.
|
If one is interested in receiving an answer to his question, he
will choose the suitable question. When he presses the key letter (the operation
code), the software will make a complex calculation. The main part of that
calculation is the skip-over the table of letters and the choice of 15 letters
which compose the answer.
For example, if you wish to know how many wives you will marry,
you will realize that one of the possible answers (to the key letter Alef) is:
מנשימאישהאחתתהיה - מנשים אישה אחת תהיה ("Of
many women you will marry one woman.")
The software is based on a Kabbalistic Book written by Rabbi
Eliezer Haim.
Similarly to the software Urim and Thummim, the person who asks a
question may choose one of 72 questions about various subjects. The answer
results from a complex calculation and a skip over the table of letters. The key
letter (which operates the process) is randomly chosen by the computer as one of
the spheres which exist in Kabbalah (Crown, Wisdom, Understanding, Mercy,
Heroism, Beauty, Eternity, Glory, Element, Kingship).
The table contains 4320 letters and is divided to 72 sub-tables.
The number of the sub-tables is identical to the number of the questions from
which the reader will choose the suitable question. For example: according to
the Sphere of Hesed (Mercy) the question "Will he or won’t he buy this
apartment?" receives the following suitable answer:
עצתאשתךתשמעטובלך - עצת אשתך תשמע טוב לך ("Your
wife’s advice will sound good to you.")
It is necessary to indicate that within generations the letters
of the table (mainly similar letters such as ד - ר ח כ
- נ – ת ) were faultily copied. Therefore, the process of deciphering the
answer may become even more interesting.
The book Goral Ha’asiriyot is based upon boards that were written
in Arabic or Persian a thousand years ago. In the books Goral Ha’asiriyot, Urim
and Thummim and Hibat Kodesh Goralo the answer results from the skip over the
table of letters. Therefore, those books have similar conceptions.
Goral Ha’asiriyot permits the user to phrase the question in his
own style. Thus, it is a unique book.
For example: the question "Should I purchase an apartment in
Jerusalem?" will be answered as follows:
הפמליא ממעל בל ייתן
הרצון אשר אתה שואל, ותבטל רצונך. ("The
entourage from heaven does not consent to that purchase, therefore, you should
call off your intention.")
In this software the key letter is determined according to
calculations that combine the numerological value of the question with the
number of letters in the question.

According to tradition, Sefer Ha’yetzirah
was written in Abraham’s era. It is considered the most
ancient Kabbalistic book. |

Furthermore, according to a numerological
analysis of the user’s details (his name, his wife’s
name, dates of birth etc’), there is a complete picture
of all the components of the Kabbalah: Spheres, Signs of
the zodiac, Tribes of Israel, Stars, Elements etc’. |

According to the creed of Sefer
Ha’yetzirah, the person’s character, his state of mind
and his state of health are influenced by several
factors: |

The letters that compose the person’s name. |
|

The dominant Sphere through which the spirit reaches
the body. |
|

The essence of the twelve tribes. |
|
* |
The determinant sign of the zodiac according to the
month and day of birth. |
|
* |
The dominant star – according to the position of the
stars by day and at night. |
|
* |
The four Elements: wind, water, fire, soil. |
|
* |
The auras that the person brings to the world with
him. |
|
In the software that is based upon the book Mareh
Ha’Yeladim, the questions are answered according to numerological
calculations. |

In order to receive an answer, the user ought to
provide various details about the predicate of the question. For
example: the user’s name, his wife’s name, his parents’ names, his
birth date, etc’. |

Furthermore, the software provides auxiliary data
that are used in the Kabbalah. For example: signs of the zodiac,
stars, spheres, Elements etc’. Those data are extensively detailed
and explained in Sefer Ha’yezirah. |

The software Mareh Ha’yeladim relates to the
following subjects: coupling, births, health, virtues and signs of
the zodiac, blessed days, the star of the new-born child, the
virtues of the day of the month, the order of the domination of the
stars. |

Numerology ("Gimartia" in Hebrew) is considered one
of the thirty two principles of the Torah. The word Numerology
originated from Greek or Roman. In both languages the meaning of
"Numerology" is measurement or knowledge of geometry. |

The software allows the user to present analyses and
make comparisons in Numerology. Those analyses and comparisons are
based upon ten methods of calculation, ranging from the widespread
method (according to which א = 1,
ב = 2, …, ת = 400), to the
"backward method", in which one combines the first letter of the
word with the following letters of the word until getting the whole
word (which is similar to a Mathematical progression). For example:
