Heckel Bassoon Pre-War Short Bore sn 5806 UPDATED NICE!

This is a MAGNIFICENT pre war Heckel bassoon. This extraordinary instrument is a short-bore instrument from the very best serial number range for Heckels, and is superb. It shows some wear, but nowhere near the wear that most of the Heckels from this period show. This bassoon has been maintained and updated for modern play and has had a high D key and a high E key added. Serial number is 5806. Instrument is stamped Heckel Biebrich on each joint. Obviously, I don't expect anyone to complete this transaction without playing this instrument. I encourage you to make an appointment with me to audition the instrument, or to pick it up in person.
