Classic Cover Reinterpretation
by Fred Hembeck

Hi! I'm cartoonist Fred Hembeck! Today I'm offering my version of Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers' cover for 1963's Strange Tales #108, ostensibly a showcase for the solo adventures of the Human Torch, but as you can plainly see, it's a Kirby Fantasic Four cover in all but name only! This original artwork measures 10 x 15 and is on a piece of quality 2 ply plate Bristol measuring 14 x 17. (All logos are hand drawn, no photostats!) And please note that the artwork is always signed (with both my name and the original artist(s))after the piece is sold just in case an extra salutation ("Happy Mother's Day!") is desired.

Payment is by personal check, money order or PayPal. Personal checks will be held until they clear. Postage and handling is $15.00 for Priority Mail to a United States address. International shipping is more. Please inquire about rates if you would like insurance or international shipping.
