The Pink Panther is a 1964 album by Henry Mancini. It is a soundtrack from the film The Pink Panther. The retro cover art uses the image of the cartoon Pink Panther and incorporates mod elements such as the star above the I; this sets the tone for the music on the album.
The Pink Panther, directed by Blake Edwards and co-written by Edwards and Maurice Richlin, is a 1963 comedy film, starring David Niven, Peter Sellers, Robert Wagner, Capucine and Claudia Cardinale.
It is the first entry in what became a film franchise, concerning the adventures of bumbling Inspector Jacques Clouseau (played by Peter Sellers) and his attempts to locate the Pink Panther diamond. The film also introduced the cartoon character of the same name, in an opening credits sequence animated by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises.
The Pink Panther was shot in Italy, Paris, and Los Angeles, California. It was originally released theatrically by United Artists, and is now available on VHS and DVD from MGM Home Entertainment. The Technirama film was shot in an aspect ratio of 2.20:1 in Technicolor. Promotional taglines for the initial release included "A Madcap Frolic Of Crime and Fun" and "You only live once, so see The Pink Panther twice!" The film is number 62 on Bravo's list of "100 Funniest Movies". The score was listed at #20 on AFI's 100 Years of Film Scores.

Our entrance is on First Street at the top of the wheel chair ramp. The City of Watertown is located in the South Eastern portion of Wisconsin and is centered where the counties of Dodge and Jefferson meet. It has been shown that repeated playing of dirty records can cause permanent damage to the vinyl. Preservation of valuable or irreplaceable records requires careful cleaning. Further more, stylus wear is greatly accelerated by playing dirty records, and with cartridges costing what they do these days, playing soiled records can lead to significant and unneeded expense. SS Still Sealed - in factory-fresh condition
M Mint - I don't use this grade.
M- Mint Minus - a near perfect, probably unplayed record
VG+ Very Good Plus close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to VG+. Will satisfy all but the most demanding collector.
VG Very Good - a used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
VG- Very Good Minus - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise.
G+ Good Plus. In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records.
