This highly detailed design is by Hermés artist Michel Duchene, eeissued for the Year of India and the opening of the Hermés boutique in New Dehli.

Depicted we find a hunter with a pith helmet and rifle, surrounded by tigers, birds, horses and a saddled elephant (and a few other animals I cannot identify).

Chasse en Inde has been issued in a number of different sizes, colour ways and weaves, but this 2008 violet / cerise is really a stunning new combination. Though the colours are bold, the design is subtle -  a perfect match for business attire.

This was not a sale item. Your new carrè will arrive in a signature Hermès box with ribbon.

If you would like your item gift wrapped, simply send us an email or include a note with your payment. We'll do our best to dress your package for the occasion.

Keep in mind when selecting shipping options that only business days are counted, not holidays, weekends, or the first day processing your order. There is no shipping service in Canada on Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holidays. If delivery is required by a specific date, consider upgrading to FEDEX or UPS courier. If you are unsure as to shipping times, simply send an email.

Most items are sent with delivery confirmation and you will be notified within 24 of shipment as to your tracking number and a website for tracing your package. eBay and Pay Pal require that items be shipped with tracking and signature. Because of this we cannot and will not, ship to PO or APO Boxes. Buyer is responsible for any local taxes or duty.
