With four lakes at Lake Tansi, the residents enjoy an abundance of water activities. The largest, Lake Tansi, comprises over 500 acres and supports a wide variety of water sports, including, fishing, water skiing, swimming and paddle boating.

Lake Tansi is the only of the four lakes to allow gasoline-engine-driven boating. The Lake Tansi Marina offers a full variety of boating services, including boat rentals and fishing supplies.

The Thunderbird Recreation Center is located off Deer Run Circle. The Thunderbird is the location of many of the dances and parties held at Lake Tansi annually. You will also find pool tables, juke box, video games and snacks available at specific times throughout the year.
