Products
Are your CDs new and sealed? Yes, the vast majority of our CD inventory is brand new and factory sealed. We occasionally sell used CDs and DVDs, particularly rare titles. These, however, are always clearly marked as used in the item description.
Is this CD/DVD a promo, bootleg or burned copy? No – Newbury Comics does not sell burned copies or bootlegs, only official releases from licensed distributors.
How is your vinyl shipped? We ship all our vinyl in new LP mailers with proper filler padding.
I’m interested in one of your colored vinyl LPs. What color vinyl is it? If we know, you’ll find this information in the item description. In many cases, the color vinyl is not stated, and we will not open sealed LPs to check.
What is a digipak? A digipak is a jewel-case alternative consisting of a gatefold paperboard or card-stock binding with one or more plastic trays capable of holding a CD or DVD attached to the inside. Digipak-style packaging is often used for special or limited edition releases.
Are all your items in stock? When will my item ship? Unlike many of our competitors, we do not drop-ship, meaning every item we list is in stock. Most orders are shipped within one business day of your payment being received!
Orders and Payment>
Will I be charged sales tax? Sales tax will be charged on items shipping to the following states: CT (6%), MA (5%), ME (8%), and RI (7%).
Will you accept “x amount” for this item? We do not accept best offers – prices for all our Store and Fixed Price items are firm.
Shipping
What is the estimated delivery time for my order? Most customers within the United States can expect to receive their item within 2-7 business days. Estimated delivery for international customers is 7-14 days. However, due to customs delays, we have seen orders take up to 30 days to be delivered in rare cases.
We do not guarantee delivery within this timeframe; they are only estimates based on shipping carriers.
What are the international import fees, taxes, or tarries for my order? You may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country – Newbury Comics is not responsible in the case that additional charges apply. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for information.
Will you mark my item as a gift, or lower the stated value on my customs form? We can not mark your order as a gift. As required by law, all international shipments will show their full value on your shipment’s customs form.
Will you ship my CD without a jewel case? Sorry – we will not open any CDs to ship them without their packaging.
I live near a Newbury Comics store, can I pick my items up instead of having them shipped? Orders can not be picked up at one of our retail locations - all online orders are shipped directly to our customers.

| | Album notes | Def Leppard: Pete Willis, Steve Clark (vocals, guitar); Rick Savage (vocals, bass); Rick Allen (vocals, drums); Joe Elliott (vocals). Recorded at Battery Studios, London, England. Between the time of Def Leppard's 1980 debut, ON THROUGH THE NIGHT, and the band's second album, HIGH 'N' DRY (released one year later), the young group had improved tremendously. An extended world tour had made the band musically tighter, but they'd also become better songwriters--HIGH 'N' DRY contains several tracks that longtime Leppard fans point to as classics. Another major reason for the group's vast improvement was that renowned producer Mutt Lange was involved in the proceedings. While the album wasn't a smash hit, it faired extremely well on the U.S. charts, due to touring and a newly born cable network called MTV, which aired Def Leppard's low-budget clips from HIGH 'N' DRY quite often. Highlights included the power ballad "Bringin' on the Heartbreak" (which would soon become a concert staple for the band), as well as the album-opening anthem "Let It Go," the instrumental "Switch 625," and the rough and rocking title track. HIGH 'N' DRY was reissued in the mid-'80s with a remix of "Bringin' on the Heartbreak" and a previously unreleased track from the album's recording sessions, "Me and My Wine." The late-'90s version deleted these two extra tracks, however.
