Most class rooms have through the wall AC units. Heat is a boiler system. Property is still zoned residential but is approved for commercial use once ADA items are installed. We recently have installed a new roof on the left wing opposite of the gym. Gym still has its functioning score board. Gym has a stage on one end, we have had functions with bands and it works great for gatherings and an awesome place for a band. Gym has 20 tons of heat pumps and A/C. Kitchen has its own ducted Air Conditioning. Intercom from old principles office works great in all rooms as well as the bell to change classes. School also has motion security system with approximately 20 motion sensors throughout the school and will report to a monitoring service and or your own cell phone. Electrical service is in good shape with all wiring redone in conduit systems. Main service is 600 amps 3 phase 208/120 volts. 400 feet down the road is manned 24/7 fire station. Electric monthly bills are approximately 240 dollars a month provided we haven't had any functions that require a lot of heating or cooling. When we have activities with high electric demand you can expect something from 600 to 800 for the month. Water bill is usually around 27 dollars a month range. Kitchen Double oven and 8 burner stove operates on propane. Large tank in the back that is currently near full. Boiler runs on Red Diesel. There is a garage in the back that one could park cars etc in if used for a residence. Community loves this building. Many still bring their children to the playground for picnics. Some have rented the gym to have birthday parties for their kids. To this day no graffiti has been put on the school. The red brick has stayed that way, this says something about the area it is in. |
