HITACHI PJ-TX100
720P / 1080I High Definition LCD Home Theater Projector
1200 Lumens! 1200:1 Contrast! 16:9 and 4:3 Aspect Ratios!
Vertical and Horizontal Lens Shift! Remote Control!
Only 631 Hours used on a 2000 Hour Bulb!
I recently acquired two very good projectors but only need one so I'm putting this one up for sale. With its 1200 Lumens brightness and the 1200:1 contrast, the HD projector puts a nice clear bright image on the wall even in a well lit room. It comes complete with a fully functional remote control, owners manual, lens cover, power cord, and vga cable if you need to project an image from your pc or laptop. It has several inputs from RGB, VGA, DVI, S-VIDEO, and Composite RCA. It only has 631 hours on its 2000 hour rated bulb, so there is still plenty of life left. It can project the standard 4:3 aspect ratio or can be set to 16:9 Widescreen. One of the very nice features of this projector is the "lens shift" feature: two rolling knobs on the top of the projector that allow you to move the projected picture up, down, left, and right without having to physically move the projector or prop it up with feet extenders or anything! I hooked it up in our bedroom to a cable box and a dvd player through the RCA video input... watched a little bit of tv and watched a full movie with no problems. The fan runs VERY quiet... very quiet in a quiet room and I couldn't hear it at all while watching the tv or dvd movie and it was right over my head! When you power it off, the fan runs a few minutes after the bulb turns off to cool it down as its supposed to, and then the fan shuts itself off. I took many pictures below so you could see the projector itself and the images it can produce.

The images below of TV (Family Feud and the Channel Guide) were taken in my bedroom with the lights on to show that this projector is plenty bright enough with 1200 lumens to have a nice bright, colorful picture even in a well lit room. A lot of projectors out there are hard to see unless you have a very dark room. This is a 110" picture projected on our wall from across the room (about 15 feet away). Just as a reference point for comparison on size... the black tv you see at the bottom of the pictures is a 32" tv.

The images below were from the movie "Wanted" taken in the same room on the same wall with the lights off... except I expanded the picture even bigger for the ultimate theater experience.
The images you see below are looking at a 130" Screen! That's almost an 11 Foot picture projected from just 15 feet across the room! So this projector can project a rather large image from a short distance... or it can be shrunk down as small as you like. Lots of flexibility with this projector.

This is obviously a used projector. I have personally tested it as mentioned above and taken pictures of its functionality. Due to the nature of projectors, bulbs, etc... this projector is being sold as-is.
