You are bidding on a very rare cookie jar!
It was made by Regal China, and is number 706.
It is about 10"x5"x11-1/2" tall
It lists in the collector guides for well over $300.
It does have a few flaws, which are visible in the photos. The gold paint on the stirrups is worn in places. And there is what appears to be a repaired chip on one bottom corner, that was painted and glazed over. Possibly even by the manufacturer. There is another, smaller paint-chip on a different corner. And a few very tiny (pin-head size or smaller) chips around the bottom edge. It has NO cracks or flaws of that kind. Because of this, I am selling this item AS-IS. I encourage anyone interested to e-mail me with any questions BEFORE you begin bidding. I will do the best I can to answer them, with more photos if necessary.

Insurance is required on this item.
PayPal is the much-preferred option. It is fast and easy for everyone involved. And it costs you, the buyer, nothing. Not even a postage stamp!
I will accept a money order, but ONLY if it's a Post Office money order, purchased at the Post Office.
Make it payable to Shari Fiedler.
The mailing address is:
Shari Fiedler
3700 Diamondhead
St. Louis, MO 63125
I will not accept any other brand of money order (W/U, bank, etc.), nor will I accept any type of check.
If you plan to send a Postal money order (see above!) let me know to expect a little delay.
Believe me, I want your business!! I will bend over backwards to work with you. So if there is a problem, it can almost always be worked out to your satisfaction as well as mine. Just let me know, and we will work it out together.
I normally ship by Priority Mail. It is faster delivery, and it gets better handling. If you want Parcel Post, let me know before you check out, please.
If you buy more than one item at the same time and want them shipped together to the same address, let me know before you check out. I can invoice you for the full amount, with reduced shipping charges.
You are probably aware that the shipping charges you pay are a little more than the postage itself. Bubble wrap, packing peanuts, boxes, paper, labels and ink, etc. can be pretty expensive. Also, I never leave a package in my mailbox for the carrier to pickup. I ALWAYS take them to the Post Office. And we all know about the price of gasoline these days. I try very hard to keep these costs down to a very reasonable level. It is not my intent to profit from the shipping & handling fees, just to break even on them.
I describe my items as thoroughly as possible, including any known faults and defects, if any. When possible, I include photos of the questionable areas. So, unless I specifically state otherwise, every item is sold AS-IS. I strongly encourage you to contact me BEFORE you bid if you have any questions at all.
I have no control over how an item is handled, or mishandled, after I take it to the Post Office. So if it gets lost or damaged, I cannot and will not be responsible for the cost of the lost/damaged item.
Because of this, in most cases insurance is REQUIRED. It isn't much. ($1.65 for up to $50; $2.05 up to $100; $2.45 up to $200; $4.60 up to $300).
