In One Volume

NY: Charles Scribner's Sons. 1932. Stated Third Edition, revised (in one volume) - First printing thus. 8vo. xv, 854pp with index.

Hardcover with Dust Jacket. Book is in Very Good condition with light rubbing and small patches of sunning, with the gilt lettering on spine bright and legible. The jacket has a price of $7.50 on front flap. It shows some light edgewear, small chips to head and tail of spine with some darkening, a couple small nicks on front panel, and is now protected in a Mylar sleeve. The hinges are just starting to show some stress with small splits (this is a heavy book), but they are still strong and holding well. The pages and endpapers are clean with no names or markings.

An uncommonly nice copy of this first one-volume edition. A classic in the genre of books about books, this volume belongs in any book-lover's library!
