'Pension Williams' is a small family run hotel located in the village of Seebach in the Black Forest, Germany.  We are an English couple who have recently re-opened the Pension after the previous owners retired.  The Pension has a heated indoor swimming pool which is open all year, a cosy dining room and our bedrooms are a good size with large double beds, TV, en-suite shower and toilet and most have private south-facing balconies with magnificent views over the valley.  We serve a good range of local beer, wine and schnapps and light meals in the afternoons and evenings.  We have ample private parking.

The holiday is for 7 nights B&B for 2 people, sharing a double room with en-suite and south facing balcony, commencing Saturday 7th June 2008.

The area is a haven for hiking, nordic-walking, cycling, mountain-biking, motor cycling (we are 5 minutes from the Schwarzwaldhochstrasse) and of course, sightseeing.  Baden Baden, Freiburg, Triburg (probably the cuckoo clock capital of the world!), Freudenstadt, Mummelsee, Strasbourg and the Alsace (France), Basle (Switzerland) to name but a few are within easy driving distance for wonderful days out.  For the children (and big kids!) Europapark is about 50 minutes away, one of the foremost theme parks in Europe, as well as Karlsruhe Zoo and Mehliskopf dry toboggan run, again to name but a few.  Of course, you may prefer to just relax and unwind - in which case have a day sitting on your balcony watching the world go by (where we can serve you with maybe a pot of Earl Gray or a local beer or wine), maybe have a swim in our pool or even 'take the waters' in nearby Baden Baden.  In fact, Seebach is a 'Luftkurort' village, with pure, healthy air - ideal for 'recharging the batteries' and forgetting the stresses of everyday life.

The price includes use of our indoor heated swimming pool and also includes Kurtaxe, which is the local tourist tax - you will receive a guest card on arrival which entitles you to free bus and train travel in most of the Black Forest and certain other reductions locally.  The price does  not include travel to and from Seebach, however we are conveniently located whether you wish to come by air or road.  Karlsruhe Baden airport is about 35 minutes away - Ryanair offer very cheap flights from the UK to Karlsruhe Baden.  Alternatively British Airways offer good deals into Stuttgart airport (90 minutes away) or Air France fly into Strasbourg (45 minutes away).  All the airports have the usual car hire companies.  Driving here from the UK is very simple, it takes about 7 hours from Calais, mostly on quiet French motorways.
