Up for sale today is a small lot of barely used Hooked on Phonics Learn to Read tools used to get your pre reader reading.

There is the yellow workbook 1 which introduces letter sounds~how to combine letters to make words~how to read words in simple sentences~"helper" words found in most children's books....use this book first to get your pre reader used to the letter sounds and sounding them out in simple words.

Next is the orange workbook 2 which includes:

Sounds that come at the beginning of words~How to combine sounds to make words~How to read these words in simple sentences~More useful "helper" words....this workbook builds on the yellow workbook.

Each workbook has only a couple of pages written in them (orange has 4...yellow has 3 written in it)....the rest of the pages appear untouched....

Also included in this set are:

26 white WORD PLAY cards...use them to practice letter sounds and go a step further by creating your own words

13 orange HELPER WORD cards...use them to practice commonly used words in children's books

13 orange letter blend sounds

1 Pouch to keep cards in

Although this is not a complete set, there is still a TON of teaching left in these materials....they provide a simple and easy to use start to teaching your child the basics of reading
