Yellow Fire Hoses
Hanging on the side of a Fire Engine
I took this picture with my trusty Nikon FE in Indiana in the 1990s. I was working for a newspaper and had access to fire departments, where the men were glad to let me take photos at will. I found everything in and around the fire stations fascinating and took a lot of pictures. This one shows one of the most imprtant part of the fireman's equipment when not in use. I miss those days.
The piece you are buying here is a 2.5" x 3.5" ACEO size picture I printed with my own computer printer on archival quality paper with archival quality Vivera ink. The word artipher will not be on the finished print. The SFA in the title refers to Small Format Art, meaning that no one side is greater than 14" and I belong to ebay's SFA Group. ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals.
If this sells for more than $10 I will donate 10% to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
This will be the second print sold from this negative and it will be numbered on the back.
I have been taking pictures for many decades and am only now getting around to selling some of my prints. Discovering this ACEO movement on ebay has been a blessing for just getting started! I am hoping to start making some money from selling my art to supplement the Social Security Disability and $10 in food stamps I receive every month. I have not been able to work since 1999 due to Multiple Sclerosis, diabetes and other problems. When I start making more than $10 per print I will donate some of the money to the National MS Society. I think you have to make over a certain amount to set up an automatic withdrawal for it.
I am not trying to win your sympathy, but if your are deciding between buying this and something from a large company I hope you will invest in me!! :0)
