This auction is for a vintage rectangular/square dish that I think is an open sugar....perhaps it h ad a lit, but no evidence of such. The sides have a figure head that looks like George Washington. Ceramic dish is crazed overall, no chips, cracks or damage, great little vintage hotel/restaurant ware. Bottom is marked HOTEL W.S. GEORGE and a number 195 or 185 D. Stands approx. 2 7/8" tall.
