House Sign or Boat Sign Teak, Custom Laser Engraved

Wooden Teak House Sign Custom Laser Engraved to your specifications.  This is a classy house sign that you can have customized with your family name, house number, custom image, etc.  The sign measures 18" long by 5" tall.  The border is scalloped and resesses are engraved into the wood to accomodate mounting screws.  The signs look great with brass mounting screws with .25" (1/4") heads.  The signs are cut out and the edges are chamfered before laser processing.  Because these signs are not painted I usually run 2 passes on the laser to create more contrast and relief in the sign image.  If you own a boat you are familiar with Teak.  Although very expensive, Teak is one of the most weather resistant woods on Earth.  These signs will last for many years and probably longer than many homes.  If not kept oiled with Teak Oil the signs will turn grey within a couple of years.  For many, this grey color is actually desireable and once achieved the sign will be maintenance free for many years.  I ship all signs with 2 coats of Teak Oil which gives the wood a wonderful warm yellow look as seen in the pictures.  Please note that if you have a boat and want a sign that is bent to match the curvature of the hull, please contact me and I will get you a special quote.
