House of Webster Texas WILD ROSE Coffee Pot, Cup Saucer

Offered for auction: A lovely coffee pot (with lid) and cup and saucer, decorated with a pink wild rose pattern and gold tirm. All three pieces are made by House of Webster, of Eastland, Texas (according to Lehner's Encyclopedia of US Pottery Mark, "shipping center is Rogers, Arkansas," which is the mark on the cup and saucer).

This very solid coffee pot is 6.5 inches high at the rim (7.75 inches with the lid on) and 4 inches wide. It is in excellent condition, with no cracks, hairlines, or crazing. The pink rose pattern is richly colored, on both sides of the pot.

The cup measures 3 inches high, and the saucer is 6 inches wide. Both have embossed detail, gold trim, and the same pink rose decal design.

The pot is stamped on the bottom with the log cabin logo and "House of Webster Ceramics / Eastland, Texas." The cup and saucer have log cabin marks and "House of Webster / Rogers, AR / 72757."
