A photography's collector's dream! This lot contains rare items and would make a great and unique gift for that special someone.
This kit belonged to my husband's grandfather who was an amateur photographer in the 1910's to 1950s. He did most of his picture taking in the 1920s, so I would guess it dates back to approximately then.
We have had this set it on display on a shelf in our house for years, but now I need to baby proof our house and this has to go. The instructions with it is a guidebook for the Eastman 3A or the ABC outfit. According the the contents of the original kit, there are a few parts of the kit that are missing, and then there are a lot more extras that didn't originally come with the kit. The original kit contained 9 items: 1 Kodak Candle Lamp, 4 drying trays, 1 40z graduate, 1 printing frame and glass, 1 stirring rod, 1 bottle of Nepera Solution, 1 box of Eastman special developer powders, 1/2 pound of Kodak Acid Fixing powder, 2 dozen sheets of Velvet Velox contrast.

Eastman Instructional Manual
Handwritten directions, a shortcut written by my husband's grandfather
2 Enamel Pans, both in near mint condition with the original Kodak labels.
3 unopened sensitized paper packs
26 Kodaslide masks (originally 50 in box)
2 mini mixing cups, yellow and green
1 tin can of fixative
4 Glass tubes of developing powders, with orignal wax seals.
1 Printing frame with Glass
2 Clear Glass Mixing cups, the larger of the two with EASTMAN KODAK
on the front.
1 Wood Stirrer
1 German silver measuring spoon
1 Candle lamp (Candle lamp is quite rusty, just FYI)
1 Wood and Leather Brayer/Roller (Leather is in rough condition)
