…… In my last photograph of this auction you will see this very large Victorian Glass Dome with a magnificent ‘Bird of Paradise’ mount on the inside. Don’t get mad at me but I have decided to sell the bird and the dome separately because different people desire them…. This large Circa 1870s Hand Blown Glass Dome is in perfect condition. The painted walnut base measures, 16 ½” long by 9” wide and it still retains its four small feet. The inside measures of the dome are exactly 15” long by 7 ½” wide by 19 ¾” tall right up the middle. If I measures inside the dome on either end it measures approximately 17” tall. … I have put a very modest reserve on this early glass dome and I know we can pack it safely to anywhere in the world.
