Huge Oil Painting Portrait By Arthur Palmer - No Reserve
Arthur W. Palmer (1913-1982)
Currently, I am having my "Magnificent May" sale! This is one of the many important paintings included in this two-session sale.
The painting is 100% guaranteed, as described. It was originally purchased from the estate of Vincent Compagno. This painting was also previously exhibited at "The Bohemian Club" (San Francisco, California).
I was told by the person who purchased this from the estate of Compagno that this painting was exhibited in "The Bohemian Club". This really wasn't a surprise...
According to "Info wars.com":
"New Bohemian Grove Photos Surface
An Infowars reader recently informed the editors of this site that an estate auction of the late Vincent Compagno contained hundreds of never-before-seen photos and images of the deceased at the Bohemian Club in San Francisco and at the Bohemian Grove encampment.
This amazing collection of photos are a revealing look into the Bohemian Grove of previous decades. Below is a selection of the images along with several additions from the most recent infiltration of the Grove featured in Alex Jones' newest Documentary, The Order of Death."
Secondly, Arthur Palmer was a member of "The Bohemian Club". Together...it all makes sense.
If you are unfamilar with Arthur Palmer, I have included his biography from "AskART":

This large oil on canvas measures 47" by 38", with its' frame. The actual painting measures 40" by 32". The painting is signed by Palmer and dated "64" , on the lower left. It is signed again and inscribed "Vincent Campagno. 1964", on the back of the canvas.
The painting is in good overall condition.
The frame is probably the original frame. It has some surface scratches, but is in good, overall condition.
When examining the painting under the ultraviolet light, I did find evidence of a previous restoration. Inpainting accounted for about 3%-5% of the painting's total surface area. The signature is original to the painting and it did not flouresce under the ultraviolet light.
One special interest of note, is that Palmer's original studio label is still on the back. This label lists the paints that he used to paint this painting, with his studio address.
Arthur Palmer's contibutions to American portraiture and Disney Studios are widely acclaimed. "AskART" does not list any of his oil paintings being sold at auction in the past 18 years. This is a rare opportunity to own an original oil painting by one of America's great portrait artists!
Good luck on becoming the winning bidder of this huge portrait oil painting by Arthur W. Palmer.
Please note that the 3" wide, wood frame and liner, makes this painting "oversized". This is the reason for the higher shipping price. If you would like it shipped without the frame, it would only cost about $50-$55 to ship.
