You are bidding on retired Broadcaster, TV Host, producer, and director Hugh Downs (b.1921), who began career as announcer  for Matt Weaver's "The Home Show" 1954-1957, Sid Caesar's "Caesar's Hour" 1956-1957, and announcer for Jack Paar's "Tonight Show" 1957-1962. Downs was also host of the game show, Concentration" 1958-1968, host of "The Today Show" 1962-1971, and co-anchor of "20/20" with Barbara Walters from 1978-1999. He has also authored numerous books.
