   Hull Little Red Riding Hood Cookie Jar # 967 Production started in  1943.            

  This little cookie jar is full of nostalgia!  It came from a old estate!  They started making these cookie jars in 1943 and i would say this one is about that old.  It has tan stains under the glaze,pin holes and a lot of the cold paint decorations are gone.  The basket,apron,shoes and other decorations are different than any picture that i have seen of this cookie jar and if the truth was known it is probably one of the first ones ever made.  It has a little chip on the dress on the back of the cookie jar.  Somebody touched it up a long,long time ago.  It has your normal little chips around the inside lid.  Not very many and not very bad.  There are not any cracks on this jar.  It has on the bottom 967 Hull Ware, Little Red Riding Hood, Patent Applied For U.S.A. It is valued in Hull books Anywhere from $400.00 to $700.00 for perfect ones. It measures 12  13/16".
