Grand Beauty!
Hull Pottery is well known in
collectors circles and the availability of perfect pieces dwindles
as time goes by. It's pottery after all. Because of
this the price guides vary but see this items value anywhere from
$600.00 to $900.
This offering is one such perfect piece. No
chips, cracks or crazing. The owner took loving care of it over the
years and it's in wonderfully beautiful condition. It's a heavy item
weighing 4 lbs. It stands a statuesque 14" tall and from the lip to
the end of the handle measures 9 1/2" wide.
With people searching for the right thing to
invest in these days, consider that something of this natures value
will continue to climb. The longer you can keep this in it's perfect
condition the more it will bring you in the future. It will become
even more rare year after year.
The A.E. Hull Pottery Company
began in 1905 and for decades produced pottery pieces in a matt
finish. In 1950 a flood and fire destroyed the plant in Crooksville,
Ohio. By 1952 the plant was reopened and they began introducing
gloss finished products. The Woodland Ewer is one
of those early 1950 items.
The photos below show it in many different
angles. You can view for yourself what a lovely antique this is and
it's beautiful condition.
