The 'Hundred Years War' between France and England (1337 - 1453) was an episodic struggle lasting well over a hundred years. The battles were both violent, but also occasions when ideals of 'chivalry' were displayed. This wonderful chess set depicts this period in European history.

This is a NEW IN THE BOX SET. Features finely crafted HAND PAINTED coldcast resin figures. Dimensions: King: 3 5/8", Base: 1" square.

The set comes with our newest board ... a very nice 16" X 16" rosewood board with silver tone resin cast in a medieval influenced design. Dimensions: 16" X 16" X 1", Squares: 1 1/2". NOTE: These chess pieces are available without a board in our Ebay store.
