Fabulous porcelain Hungarian Christmas Angel. In Hungary, it is an angel who brings gifts to good little children. Tradition has it that on Christmas Eve, the angel sets up a tree and places her gifts under it.. Then, before returning to her heavenly home, she lingers over the children's beds to bestow her blessing. Ornament is handcrafted of the finest porcelain and painted meticulously by hand to capture even the smallest details. Created by the Franklin Mint, this ornament measures approximately 3-3/4" tall. In excellent condition. Includes a small 2 page pamphlet about Christmas in Hungary. Please be sure to look several more Santas from around the world in my other auction and listed in my ebay store.
