Little about the book

What a neat book! Text and drawings by Ralph Steadman, introductory statement by Kurt Vonnegut, it is named after Hunter S. Thompson's red Mercedes-Benz, in which he rode Steadman around Aspen quite a few times. Illustrated with color artwork by Ralph Steadman and photos of Thompson's Owl Ranch in Aspen, Colorado, and its surroundings. This particular book is about the author's trip to Colorado to visit the late Hunter S. Thompson in the summer of 2000 with his wife Anna and their friend Joe Petro III.
