Huss & Dalton Musical Instruments began in 1995 when Jeff Huss and Mark Dalton had the idea to build the guitar that they wanted to play. While appreciating the traditional design, both had visions of a guitar that paid homage to tradition while incorporating improvements in the structural design and ascetics of the steel string guitar. Jeff and Mark utilize a hands on "Bench Style" of building combined with the precision that modern tooling and techniques offer.

Balanced and shimmering tone helps with the nuanced playing that modern guitarist are demanding. We find Huss & Dalton models to be an appealing blend of traditional shapes and styles combined with new ideas and variations. This Custom MJ has a Sitka Spruce top, gorgeous Maple back and sides, Maple neck, and Gotoh tuning machines w/Ebony buttons.
