The iWALKFree is used by motivated patients in case of lower leg foot or ankle fracture, dislocation or tendon rupture surgery which requires non-weightbearing to maximize chances for optimal healing and recovery. The device is also used by below knee amputees ( BK's ) in place of crutches to walk or as a shower or swim leg. The iWALKFree has been used to off-load foot ulcers and treat hamstring repair. The iWALKFree can be adjusted to fit height variances from 4 - 6 ft plus, (the aluminum beam is sized to the patient's unguinal crease). The device is fully adjustable to fit left or right (buckles to the 'outside') and can easily carry more than 275lbs. It takes about ten to fifteen seconds to apply or remove the brace. The iWALKFree is designed to be used on one leg at a time. Due to the shape of the 'foot' on the base of the unit, it is very precise and maneuverable. FREE SHIPPING WITHIN 48 CONTINENTAL US ONLY.
