I'm selling my Icom IC-718 transceiver because I haven't been active in a while and don't want to find this favorite a good home. Well taken care of and works flawlessly. It and is cosmetically near perfect, comes with original box and manual and spec sheets. I never hooked it to an amp, and always made sure it was well grounded. Contacts with 599 reports as far as the Yukraine, India and South Africa with a longwire antenna and 100 watts. You won't be disappointed in this solid, easy-to-use, well-designed ICOM rig as your first HF rig or as a backup for your shack. It was used in a non-smoking environment. Rig has ICOM DSP unit and ICOM CW Wide/Narrow filter installed (see the inset face photo and notice the "DSP" on the lower left and "W" for Filter settings in the upper right, which shows the two in service.
