ILFORD 500 Multigrade Enlarger system on OMEGA D5V-XL. The ILFORD MULTIGRADE 500H enlarger head and control system offers the black and white printer automated control of contrast range and time. The contrast control is established by the mixing of 2 light colors in the head. There are no poly contrast filters to put under the lens. The use of high technology microprocessor electronics has produced a more sophisticated, yet simple to use, control unit featuring two digital displays - one for time and one for contrast. This system is the Cadillac of B&W printing. The probe automatically sets time directly to the control pad. It has a count down timer and automatically shuts off the safe light for focus and setup. Condition is very good except for cracks in the base board formica. The area is about 3 X 4 inches and does not interfere with operation. The carries supplied are not the silver ones in the photo but are newer black carriers. See the last photo. Local pickup prefered but I will ship. Keep in mind the combined weight is over 135 pounds.
