This glove will fit a normal hand with circumference around the knuckles of 7.5-8.5 inches (or 19-22cm).

I have worked my entire professional life in the ski and outdoor sport industry designing and developing products for the 2 top names in wintersports. After leaving to start this business in June-06, I designed and sourced directly from Asian factories what I consider to be the best sports bags and wintersports gloves available today at any price. In short, these gloves are what I would have done if it were not necessary for my former employer to make a heafty margin on sales to please shareholders.

The IMCO LNR High-Loft glove is first of all the most comfortable glove in the world. We use a buttery soft SHEEPSKIN layer in the palm and wrap it around the fingertips to add warmth and durability. The insulation is a high-tech SUPER-FILL that not only gives this glove a super feel but incredible insulation properties. In addition, we have built in flex points in the fingers to make flexing the glove super easy. The lining (part actually touching your hand)is a micro-brushed BEMBERG nylon. To be honest, with this lining and the SUPER-FILL you can get the same feel that I was able to achieve at Brand X.  It is all the extras we could not afford to build in.

On the backside, we use a very light but durable micro-ripstop fabric. This polyester fabric is coated with a breathable coating to repel moisture. To be sure that NO moisture reaches your hands, a waterproof breathable glove insert made by YOUNGTEC is sandwiched in between the shell and the insulation. This insert is completely protected from any stitching and is attached with sewing only at the wrist of the glove. The breathability specs on this insert are as high as the pricey American version from Brand G in Maryland. Bottom line is this: it is pretty easy to make a completely waterproof glove, without a place for your body vapor to go and a way for it to get there, your hand will be damp and clammy in just a few minutes.

On the top of the thumbs we use a super soft PVC nubuck suede material because, let face it, you are probably not taking off your glove when your nose starts running in the cold air. Also, built into the left outside thumb is a rubber goggle squeegee. This feature is super to have when you get caught in inclement weather and it works just like the windshield wipers on your car.

To close up the "package" there is a nylon webbing and velcro cinch at the wrist. Just to spice up the look, I used a piece of SHEEPSKIN as the pull tab. At the wrist, is a ONE TUG bungee and cord lock set up that can be operated with one hand whether or not you are wearing gloves.

If I were to have built this glove in my former life, the MSRP would have been $60
