Movie description
Aldolpho Rollo's life is about as dull as it can be until he meets up with Joe who wants to help him out. Aldolpho becomes caught between luring in on his neighbor Angelica, and Joe in a wild life of money, women and mayhem. Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.

Notes
"In the Soup" is writer-director Alexandre Rockwell's fourth film. The material for the screenplay is based on his personal experiences as a screenwriter attempting to raise the money for his first film.  

Other cast members include Sully Boyar (Old Man); Steven Randazzo (Louis Bafardi) and Pat Moya (Dang).

The film within-the-film ("Aldolpho's Short Film") was made by Steve Buscemi and Jo Andres and stars Michael Buscemi, John Buscemi, Locian Buscemi, Steve Prestianni and Ruth Maleczech.

Rated BBFC 15 by the British Board of Film Classification.
