This is a solid and affordable copy of this highly collectible book, especially with the new film coming out in June, which is expected to be as huge a hit as Iron Man. This copy is fully intact, has nothing missing and has mostly just general overall wear. I’ll do my best to describe its condition as accurately as possible. First, there is a tear on the front cover beginning at the top left, above the E in “The” and continues for about 3 1/2 inches down and ends just above the top of Hulk’s head. Yes, the tear is big but it’s been carefully repaired with tape on the inside of the cover. There is no tape on the outside of the cover. Although you can see it, the tear is actually pretty clean so it’s not terribly visible and doesn’t distract too much from the overall appearance of the book. There is also another tiny piece of tape at the bottom right corner of the cover, again, on the inside only, repairing a small chip about 1/2 inch. There is no other tape anywhere else on the book. The spine has moderate wear along the edge with transverse stress lines and some small tears at the staples but no tearing along the edge and the cover and centerfold are fully attached to both staples. The cover edges have a few small creases here and there but nothing significant, all very visible in my scans. The back cover is very clean with just a small moisture spot on the bottom right corner. That about it, the book is complete, the interior pages are in great shape with no tears and the paper quality is supple. This is a well loved book with one unfortunate rip but it’s an affordable copy of one of the hottest collectibles in the comic book industry. Please email me with any questions
