Up for auction is a brand new INTEL 2.66GHZ XEON X3350/ Q9450 CORE 2 QUAD 45NM SOCKET 775 w/ 12MB CACHE.
The INTEL XEON X3350 is the same specification as the Core 2 Quad Q9450. However it is binned for the same performance at lower voltage,hence lower temperatures, and are stress tested to a higher degree before distribution to their resellers.
This results in better over clocking results and a more stable processor.
This processor works in every motherboard that a current generation Core 2 Quad Q9450.... or further more any motherboard that supports Core 2 Quad 45NM Processors. Examples are any motherboard with an Intel P35 Chipset/Intel X38/X48 Chipset/ Nvidia 750I/780I/790I Chipset etc.
The processor is BRAND NEW, NEVER USED. The factory box was opened only to observe the dimensions of the INTELs factory heatsink/fan combo that is utililized with new XEON/CORE 2 QUAD 45NM processors.
