Mid Sixties Farmall 706 Diesel, fresh from the farm

Ready for restoration

The diesel engine on this tractor is strong and runs well.  All gears in the trasmission work well.  PTO and Brakes are in good working order.

The tin on this tractor is straight except for some minor dings here and there.

Tractor has the fast hitch, power steering, glow plugs, tank heater, Firestone 18-4-34 tires.  Tires are in very good condition and the right tire rear tire is in somewhat better than the left rear tire.

Has an add on oil pressure guage on the left side of engine, of which shows good oil pressure.

Rear light works.

The not so good:

It had a cab at one time and the fenders missing, The mount that holds the hitch lever is cracked (see picture)  Could be welded. The lower dash panel is missing (see picture)
The exhaust pipe is loose, Dash guages do not work except for the glow plug gauge.

I was asked by an eBayer to check the hydraulics.  I checked the hydraulics and found there is good pressure.  There is a leak in one of lines that travel under the deck from valve.
