WHAT IS A GICLEE

Fine art giclee (spelled - giclee and pronounced zhee-clay, a French term meaning
"spray of ink"). Giclee is a print created by using state-of-the-art computer technology to reproduce images. Unlike an offset litho, there is no dot pattern on a giclee print.  And, unlike a serigraph, which is an interpretation of the original, a giclee print is an exact likeness of the original. The image is printed on archival quality papers. Archival quality inks are sprayed at extremely high resolution and are diffused into the paper. Artwork stunningly similar to the original is created with vibrant, accurate colors, deep blacks, and remarkable depth. All archival giclee prints are personally created and produced by the artist, Ipalbus.
