IR Sender / Slave Flash Trigger / Wireless / AA

Brand new IR transmitter, sits on a camera's hot shoe and emits a infrared beam which syncs with camera's shutter release and triggers any optical (light-sensitive) slave flash or any studio strobe with built-in slave. It will not work with any flash that works only with a relevant transmitter or it has a built-in receiver or switchable channels.

This transmitter fits any camera with a regular hot shoe (center-point contact) or with a pc sync socket if the camera does not have a hot shoe. Try to put a regular hot shoe flash on your camera's hot shoe and if the camera works (triggers the flash) then this IR transmitter will also work with your camera to trigger a remote slave flash.

For cameras like Minolta which has a proprietary multi-prong hot shoe, a hot shoe adapter is needed if the camera does not have a pc sync socket,

This transmitter comes with a 12" pc sync cord for use with camera that does not have a hot shoe but with sync socket.

It has a test button and a ready light as well as an On/Off power switch. Compact and handy, it takes 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included in this auction). Less than 6V trigger voltage, safe to all modern electronic cameras. Effective range is 60 ft/18m. indoor approx.

By using a transmitter, you are free from these long and clumsy pc sync cords that connect your camera with remote studio strobes and you can move freely around in your studio in accomplishing your great shooting job. And with this transmitter sitting on your camera you can trigger as many strobes as you like to deploy so long as they are in the effective range.

When you use a camera-mount flash as a triggering flash, the studio light setting is apt to be adversely affected and the flashing from the camera-mount front flash will also cast on your subject causing over-exposure and undesired lighting. So, use a transmitter instead of a camera-mount flash if you want your shooting job well-done.
