United Artists  TECHNICOLOUR PANAVISION film made in 1963 starring Shirley MacLaine at her peak and rising comedy star Jack Lemmon produced by Billy Wilder, who also wrote the screenplay with I.A.L.Diamond. I am a Shirley MacLaine fan and purchased a collection of 8 of these promotional cards in London in the 1970's from a specialist cinematic collectors emporium. These promotional colour cards were printed in England and the small print states they are the property of United Artists Corp Ltd. I guess these are 'lobby cards' and so have listed in that category but I am no specialist collector, so please check the image to be sure of what you are bidding on. The picture card is approx 10 inches x 8 inches and printed on good quality card paper and finished in that wonderful tinted colour TECHNICOLOUR style. Totally authentic period items in lovely well preserved condition. There are very slight rubs to corners if you are an absolute perfectionist and the one card depicting Shirley Maclaine being arrested and placed in the back of a citroen police van (this auction card) has a couple of white tape damage marks, which don't detract from the attactiveness of the item. All others are perfectly preserved and retain their glossy lustre very nicely. Always stored dry and flat. Feel free to ask any questions.
